Crap not again

Has anyone ever said to you, "I could have done that." The very idea that you could have is merely brought into the picture because the idea proposed was or is so simple. So in reality the thought that you have the imagination to come up with any simple idea really isn't so. They just seem so obvious after the fact because of their simplicity. In fact, these ideas are the hardest and most complicated to work out. It is all in the details. Check this one out created by a 21 year old college student. Feel free to kick yourself in the ass because it wasn't your idea. I did. www.milliondollarhomepage.com

By the bye

My sources have corrected me on my last entry. Chris didn't have a mullet, but an all-arounder. In my book he just lost a serious amount of ski punk points. And, in the previous post I suggested that he was a Missouri ski bum, but this was not complete. He actually went out to Telluride where he was bandged up like the little drummer boy (as seen in the earlier post). Something about a snowboard to the back of the head. He is now affectionately known as 'Stitch'. I am still not sure this isn't Telluride, Arkansas though. Thanks to my helper for the corrections.

Awe Shittzle!!!

Now who says my boy Brewer don't roll in style. These days he is sportin' a Vespa, a member of the Blood Swollen Ticks scooter gang, the manager of the hot new bike store in town and livin' the high life in Glendale. He is nation wide. But, back in the day my guy had a badass mullet, he kicked it like a east-side pimp in the finest ski lodges Missouri had to offer and he lived every minute like it was his last. He wasn't just local, he was World Wide.

What happened Chris?

Long time no sea saw

After some heart arrested moments through the east side, I rolled through the central west end in STL around noon today. I was giving the trusted steed little more than a false tempo down McPherson past the Xen Gallery, and I see the name of an old friend on the front door. Its strange and exciting when you come around the corner and there is a friend or a rememberance of someone that time had all but forgotten. I get great amounts of satisfaction when I see my people, past and present, doing good things. I guess I get all the competition out of me on the road poundin' out the tempo.

Rollin' Thunder

Last sunday was my last big ride so I didn't think 4 hours in the saddle would be that easy. However, I didn't think the hurt box I ended up in at the end of todays ride would shrink to the size of an apple. Mmmmm, food. I do not know what takes a guy like Chris Martel (one of our new Elite riders) away from the sport for 15 years. And, it is hard to say what brings him back to it so quickly. The first three hours were reletively easy, but......as we climbed our way up out of Maeystown and out of the river valley the joking stopped. For those of you watching bike racing in the midwest next year. Keep your eyes on Chris because he isn't looking back.
